Doctor Strange, as portrayed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and specifically during the events of Infinity War, is a complex and powerful sorcerer. Formerly a brilliant but arrogant neurosurgeon, Dr. Stephen Strange sought mystical healing after a car accident severely damaged his hands.
This quest led him to Kamar-Taj, where he learned the mystic arts from the Ancient One. He eventually became the Sorcerer Supreme, tasked with protecting Earth from interdimensional threats.
